Modules at a glance

Module 1 – Foundations of Educational Research

This module introduces the core principles, purposes, and approaches that shape educational research. Through real-world examples, participants discover how research informs teaching, guides policy, and supports continuous school improvement. The focus is on seeing research as a practical tool for inquiry, reflection, and meaningful change.

Module 2 – Using Evidence in Action Research

Participants learn how to identify, review, and interpret existing research and credible sources to inform their action research. The module emphasizes strategies for conducting literature reviews, synthesizing prior findings, and responsibly using AI tools to locate and organize relevant studies. Educators strengthen their ability to ground their inquiries in existing knowledge and apply evidence thoughtfully to guide improvement.

Module 3 – Designing and Conducting Action Research

This module guides educators through planning and implementing an action research project tailored to their professional context. It covers framing research questions, selecting appropriate methods, and collecting meaningful data, supported by AI tools that enhance design and reflection. Participants gain the skills to lead ethical, context-driven inquiry for school-based improvement.

Module 4 – Analyzing and Sharing Findings

Participants explore approaches for analyzing data, interpreting results, and communicating findings to drive learning and improvement. The module highlights how AI tools can enhance analysis, visualization, and presentation while preserving academic integrity. Educators develop the confidence to share research outcomes that inspire reflection and inform sustained change.
