Hala is the Founder and CEO of Alaabi, a UK-based start-up dedicated to the design of educational products promoting the cultural heritage of the Arab World. It all began in a family where Hala, mum and translator, could not find suitable games to teach her children Arabic. Therefore, she decided to create enriching and high quality educational toys and games that make learning the Arabic language fun.
Holding a Bachelor and Master Degrees in Special Education, Nada is a passionate special education advocate who works with special needs students in schools and at her own clinic. She leads workshops for teachers to help facilitate inclusion of special needs students in K-12 classrooms, and she works in an NGO to support vulnerable people and families in Tripoli and North Lebanon.
Maitha is a teacher with nearly 10 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and English Language Learning. Currently a lecturer with the College of Education at the Higher Colleges of Technology in Abu Dhabi, whilst pursuing a Ph.D. in Language and Literacy at United Arab Emirates University. Passionate about effective instruction and advanced classroom management techniques, as well as training future teachers to be leaders in the field of Education.
